LES CHINOIS

anybody else remember this song/video from the golden age of much music (steve anthony, erica ehm et al)? i have no idea what the song is about, but it's called "the chinese" and she's made up to look asian for half the video (is there a name for that? besides racist). i guess 1988 was a simpler time. anyway, i've realized that this song has never truly left me since then, i'd say at least once a day for the last 22 years i've had the words "ecoute moi!" pass through my mind in a pouty quebecois accent...
