MY TOP RECORDS OF 2009 PART 4

ok, i realize it isn't 2009 anymore and i know nobody ACTUALLY cares what albums i liked or didn't like this past year, but fuck it! i'll just finish this off because i'm bored and i have nothing better to do. and neither do you if you're reading this.

oh ya! how was new years? i find that new years eve is more often than not a total bust, lots of build up and hype for a night where everybody gets shit faced and does something inappropriate. that being said, i actually had a pretty good time. got wasted, kept my pants on (barely), didn't barf... success!

here's to 2010, another year of insufferable bullshit (the fucking olympics, anyone?) and general disappointment...

scoundrels- s/t
this is easily the best shit i heard last year. too bad there are hundreds of copies of this cd sitting in boxes at the jamspace we share with them just collecting dust instead of ruling peoples lives. pure weird minimal caveman thud powerpop dance grunge.

i also liked all this shit, but i'm too lazy to bother saying anything about it. it's probably for the best at this point.

and so on...
there's always more, but who honestly cares?

b.t.w. the new duffy and the doubters album "scriptural supplies" is finished, mixed and off being mastered as we speak. i'm hoping that everything will be done, record in hand, out in the world by early march. imagine that...
