gary wilson's first album from 77 was kind of a soundtrack for me and my friend graeme in late high school (his old band wonderboy used to do a cover of "6.4 = makeout") and it still kills me to this day. he released his second album in 2004 and it's like those intervening 33 years never happened. some good shit.

ok, i realize it isn't 2009 anymore and i know nobody ACTUALLY cares what albums i liked or didn't like this past year, but fuck it! i'll just finish this off because i'm bored and i have nothing better to do. and neither do you if you're reading this.

oh ya! how was new years? i find that new years eve is more often than not a total bust, lots of build up and hype for a night where everybody gets shit faced and does something inappropriate. that being said, i actually had a pretty good time. got wasted, kept my pants on (barely), didn't barf... success!

here's to 2010, another year of insufferable bullshit (the fucking olympics, anyone?) and general disappointment...
