the first french gore film, and nowhere near as shitty as you might expect. a toxic pesticide sprayed on the local vineyards has the bonus effect of turning everyone who drinks the wine into fucking zombies. and that's about it. it's like a strange and frightening dream. one of the better of jean rollin's films (though they're all pretty amazing).
